On January 26 Brewarrina Shire residents are invited to come together to reflect, respect and celebrate – because we’re all part of the story.
The Brewarrina Shire Council will host the 2023 Brewarrina Shire Australia Day Celebrations and Official Ceremony at the Geoff New Oval in Brewarrina.
Schedule of Events:
- 7.00 am: Gates Open
- 8.00 am: Free BBQ breakfast
- 9.00 am Official Australia Day Awards Ceremony with ambassador Scott Johnson
- 10:00 am: 7-A-Side Cricket Competition Commences (kids nominate on the day, team registrations close 23rd Jan)
This event features live music, Aussie novelty games and kids water activities. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and you can BYO beverages.
