Australia Day community event returns to Gosford

The Australia Day community event returns to Gosford Saturday 26 January, 2024 and will feature live entertainment, food stalls, kid’s activities and a fireworks display to conclude the night!

The all-age, event is taking place at Leagues Club Park Gosford from 4:00pm-9:00pm and is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a picnic like atmosphere with family and friends.

There is a great line up of entertainment featuring Sybella, Jump, The Ritzy Kids, Smrt Casual, headlined by Bermuda Social.

The event is a family friendly alcohol-free event and a great opportunity for the local community to come together and enjoy food, music and fun in a safe environment.

Road Closures will be in place and motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions in the CBD for the duration of the event due to the following road closures and speed limit reductions.

• Georgiana Terrace, between Dane Drive and Baker Street will be closed from 11:00am to close of Event.

• Baker Street between Georgiana Terrace and Vaughan Avenue will be closed from 6:00am for the duration of   the event.

• Vaughan Avenue will be closed to traffic from 6:00am to close of event.

• Brian McGowan Bridge will have a 40km/h speed reduction in place from 8:30pm to 9:30pm

• Alfred Higgs Place, Graham Park will have no stopping signs & barrier boards in place from 6:00am to close of event.
