MC Paul Braybrooks will kick off Australia Day with a flag raising ceremony, followed by a prayer for Sam McNally, from the Cootamundra Ministry Hub.
From 8:15 AM, devour breakfast cooked by Lions Club of Cootamundra and enjoy musical entertainment with the Coota Connections.
The day also includes:
- Displays by the Cootamundra Antique Motor Club and the Cootamundra Restorers Car Club
- 9.00am – Australian Citizenship Ceremony
- 9.40am - Australian Citizen Affirmation Ceremony
- 9.45am - MC to Introduce Ambassador
- 10.00am - Presentation of Awards
- Sportsperson of the Year
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
- 10:30am – Cutting of the Cake
