Held each January 26 for more than four decades, the Ferrython is a much-loved annual tradition which sees four Emerald Class ferries race across the waves while thousands of spectators cheer them on from the shores of Sydney Harbour.
The excitement has been dialled up even more in 2024, with an all-new race route! The vessels will complete two laps from Fort Denison to the finish line beside the Sydney Harbour Bridge, allowing them to reach top speeds unparalleled since the race began back in 1977.
