Become an Australia Day Volunteer!

Sydney enjoys an outstanding reputation for staging major events and Australia Day 2010 was no exception. Under a beautiful blue sky, fuelled by glorious summer temperatures, another successful Australia Day was delivered.

Each year these events are delivered with the assistance of over one hundred volunteers who give up their time to ensure others have a great national holiday.

As a volunteer you will be helping us co-ordinate Australia Day activities by managing information booths in the city, giving directions, recommending events and providing advice.

Volunteers are our biggest resource and there are no specific qualifications required. All we ask is that you can be flexible and willing to learn. We look for people who share our values of empathy, tenacity, challenge and ethics.
